Our Mission

The Missouri Water & Wastewater Association exists to provide operators with quality training that is educational in nature, designed to meet the qualifications for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for operator certification renewal credits, and equips water professionals with the training necessary to operate and maintain water treatment facilities, wastewater operations, and water distribution systems.

At its core, MWWA is dedicated to supporting the people responsible for protecting Missouri’s water resources and public health.

Our Vision

MWWA envisions a Missouri where every water and wastewater system is operated by well-trained, safety-focused professionals who have access to the education, resources, and support they need to succeed.

We strive to be the leading statewide organization for operator education, collaboration, and professional development — ensuring safe, reliable water and wastewater services for communities now and in the future.
